VigiChain is a sovereign trust-verification Layer 1. Bitcoin protects value. Ethereum runs contracts. VigiChain verifies trust.

What VigiChain verifies:
- VigiProof: security and integrity proofs for systems, builds and environments.
- VigiNode: node binary, config and technical-state attestations.
- VigiUpdate: legitimate release and update proofs.
- VigiLicense: issued, renewed, suspended or revoked software-license states.
- VigiAPI: adaptive, non-reusable proofs for critical API calls.
- VigiWallet Guard: anti-phishing and anti-replay risk proofs before signing.
- VigiDocs: timestamped document integrity with content kept off-chain.
- VigiTrust Passport: aggregated proof history and risk verdicts for an entity.

Current network status:
- Mainnet is locked and not launched.
- Testnet uses real proof of work and has no real economic value.
- The public testnet names are prepared, but external availability must be verified by DNS/RPC checks and the official manifest.
- Native unit: VIGI, 8 decimals, base unit vix.
- Max supply: 21,000,000 VIGI.
- Premint: 0 VIGI.
- Genesis reserved monetary allocation: 0 VIGI.
- Mineable supply: 21,000,000 VIGI.
- Mainnet bootstrap mining: first 1,000,000 mined VIGI use a public GPU-friendly target; no premint and no wallet allowlist.
- Miner reward formula: MINER_REWARD_TOTAL = BLOCK_REWARD + SUM(BLOCK_TRANSACTION_FEES).
- Transaction fees go 100% to the block producer. Fees are not burned by default and do not increase supply.

Wallet guide policy:
- EVM wallets may add VigiChain only when the official EVM-compatible RPC gateway is active and the manifest publishes a non-null chainId that matches eth_chainId.
- Do not use guessed EVM Chain IDs.
- Bitcoin wallets cannot add arbitrary networks like MetaMask. Native VigiChain requires Vigi Wallet or explicit VigiChain support; BTC route adapters are for BIP-322/PSBT proof flows, not consensus access.

Important policy:
- VIGI is native only. There is no official ERC-20 VIGI and no official wrapped VIGI.
- External wallets are compatibility doors, not consensus doors.
- Token creation must be transparent, classified and risk-scored.
- VigiChain rejects hidden minting, fake liquidity, rugpull design and meme-first deception.
- Verifiable PQ signature formats today: ML-DSA-65 and SLH-DSA-SHA2-128s. Unknown or future PQ formats are rejected until consensus activates them.
- VigiProof does not replace public cryptographic standards; it uses recognized primitives and adds anti-replay, anti-cloning and anti-tamper proof architecture.
